Location: Englewood, CO 80113 – Thriving suburb near Denver, offering excellent amenities and proximity to the Rocky Mountains.

Unit: Med/Surg (Orthopedic nursing focus, 20 beds)
Start Date: November 17, 2025
End Date: February 16, 2026
Duration: 13-week contract
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
Hours per Week: 36
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470 - $1570

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Colorado or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience (surgical unit required)
Ability to independently manage a 5-patient assignment
Experience with EMR systems (Meditech preferred)
Pain management and orthopedic nursing experience preferred
Strong teamwork and positive attitude

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients, including orthopedic and trauma cases
Perform dressing changes and aspiration procedures
Monitor and manage pain for post-surgical patients
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on patient experience and quality outcomes
