Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or compact state eligibility
At least 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry nursing role
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and commit to a 6-week travel nursing assignment
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
Monitor, assess, and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record (EHR)
Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
