MS Tele RN - Neurosurgical & Surgical Unit

Assignment Duration

This is a contract position for up to 32 weeks.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts with a requirement to work a minimum of every other weekend. Schedule adjustments may occur to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. Travelers are expected to work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.

Job Description

The position involves working in a high-acuity MS Tele unit specializing in neurosurgical and surgical care. Candidates are expected to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the best patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Prior travel nursing experience is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a telehealth setting within a large teaching facility.
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to the start date.
• Epic experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory.
