Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care position in Oregon requiring an active OR RN license and at least two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Long Term Care setting within a nursing administration unit
• Typical assignment consists of 12-hour day shifts, four days per week
• Call coverage is required during the contract
• Nurse-to-patient ratio determined by acuity measurement, generally 1:20 with 2-3 CNAs on the floor
• Utilizes HealthLand EMR and OmniCell medication delivery system
• General nursing responsibilities for long term care residents
• Tasteful and well-kept scrubs required as dress code
• Unit-specific training and orientation provided, covering safety, technology, and organizational standards
• Saturday start date is mandatory
• Temporary license endorsement is available

Requirements

• Active Oregon RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Minimum two years of RN experience in a long term care setting
