Schedule

12-hour day shifts; every other weekend required. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at a rehabilitation and nursing facility. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with dementia patients and floating to other units as needed. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patients' conditions and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Assist with daily living activities and support patient rehabilitation efforts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license with required documentation on file.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior travel experience preferred.
• Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) settings required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• Ability to float to various units as needed.
• All employment history must be complete and accurate, detailing bed count, EMR, and facility type.
