Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position in California requiring an active CA RN license and recent high-risk OB experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Patient population includes high-risk obstetrics
• Utilizes Epic EMR system
• Duties include caring for laboring patients, high-risk OB cases, and deliveries
• Must be able to work with the Epic electronic medical record system
• Local and travel candidates are offered the same rate
• Must comply with immunization and health screening requirements, including COVID and flu vaccinations
• Assignment limits apply; workers cannot exceed two years of continuous or cumulative assignment without a 90-day break

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year recent full-time equivalent experience in Labor & Delivery within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• High-risk Labor & Delivery experience within the past 2 years preferred
• 5 or more years of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth
