Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery and Postpartum night shift assignment requiring active MN RN license and fetal monitoring certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum (LDR/PP) units of a hospital
• 8-hour night shifts starting at 11:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Weekend and holiday shifts as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be willing to float to the Postpartum unit
• Uses Epic EMR charting system
• Provide nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, and the postpartum period
• Must be available to start within 3 weeks or less of offer
• Requests for days off should not exceed 7 days or less during the assignment

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required
• AHA BLS, NRP, and both Basic and Intermediate EFM certifications required
• Basic Fetal Monitoring certification must be on hand at time of consideration; Intermediate may be completed onsite if needed
• Previous hospital experience in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum required
• Epic charting experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved religious/medical exemption required
