Schedule

4x12.0 shifts; 48 hours per week, rotating schedule including weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.

Job Description

The OB Registered Nurse will provide direct care to high-risk antepartum and postpartum women with medically or obstetrically complicated pregnancies. This role involves collaboration with physicians, nurse midwives, and social workers to ensure the highest quality care is delivered to the high-risk patient population. The nurse must demonstrate excellent communication skills, prioritize effectively, and problem-solve efficiently. The position may require floating among units to fulfill variable needs of volume and acuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to high-risk antepartum and postpartum patients.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Float among units as necessary to meet patient care demands.
• Prioritize and manage patient care efficiently.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York State RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification required.
