Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Pinehurst, NC 28374

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift (3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
Certifications:
- AWHONN Intermediate (required)
- NRP (required)
- BLS (required)
- AWHONN Advanced (preferred)
Skills:
- Competent in second stage labor management and vaginal exams
- IV therapy, phlebotomy, infusion pump management
- High-risk delivery assistance including forceps/vacuum extraction
- Neonatal care skills including newborn resuscitation and thermal regulation
Preferred Experience:
- Trauma Level I or II exposure
- Teaching hospital experience
- Charge nurse experience is a plus
Other: Must not reside in Moore County (local candidates from other counties accepted)
Must be comfortable floating to postpartum/mother-baby unit

Work Environment:

Facility births/month: 100-200
Daily census: 12 patients
Beds/rooms: 19
Patient age groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Adults
Interdisciplinary support available
Observed holidays include Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, Independence Day
