Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1630-$1750
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-Call: Yes, as needed
Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience (2 years preferred)
Active Registered Nurse License (South Carolina or compact state; pending license accepted, must obtain prior to start)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
Fetal monitoring experience required
Ability to work every other weekend and take on-call as needed
COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
All requested time off must be submitted with application

Labor and Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using advanced fetal monitoring skills
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective patient care
Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process
Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations as required
Float to other nursing units within scope as needed to support hospital operations
