Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology fulfills the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care functions in accordance with licensure, certification, and hospital policy. The RN delivers competent and compassionate care, applying knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate services.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform initial and ongoing assessments of assigned patients, including admission and review of systems.
Document nursing needs and interventions appropriately and within established time frames.

Important Notes

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology Acute Care experience
- Neuro Stroke experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- 3+ years of total IR experience preferred
License: Active DC RN license required
