Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to adult patients undergoing a variety of interventional procedures. This includes preparing patients for procedures, monitoring them during and after the procedures, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced interventional radiology setting.
• Prepare and assist in various procedures, such as TIPs, Y-90, PICCs, and stroke thrombectomy.
• Monitor patients pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure.
• Administer conscious sedation and maintain patient safety throughout the procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high levels of patient care and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology required.
• Current PA or compact nursing license required at time of submission.
• ACLS and BLS certifications preferred.
• Experience with conscious sedation and circulatory nursing roles.
• Neuro experience is a strong plus.
