Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license and night shift availability for a critical need assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital
• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM serving 12-hour shifts
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Uses the Epic EMR system
• Responsible for providing critical care to ICU patients with complex needs
• Local candidates are accepted with the same rate as travel candidates
• All licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration; pending items will not be accepted
• Assignment subject to a maximum tenure policy requiring a 90-day break after two years of continuous work
• COVID and flu vaccination documentation may be required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time ICU RN experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NIH Stroke Scale certification, CCRN, and two years ICU experience preferred
• Experience with dialysis, SLED, or equivalent is preferred
