ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with an On-Call schedule determined by the facility.

Job Description

Under general supervision, the ICU Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to assigned patients. The role involves proficiency in developing nursing care plans, implementing effective nursing care, and evaluating the outcomes of nursing interventions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills are essential to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop nursing care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Implement effective nursing care in the ICU setting.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Utilize strong analytical skills in patient assessment.
• Ensure optimal patient experience and service recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of recent ICU experience - REQUIRED
• mRs/SIREN Certification must be obtained within 48 hours if offered - REQUIRED
• NIHSS certification must be completed via NIHStrokeScale.org within 48 hours of offer - REQUIRED
• Active RN license in Maryland (verification must be less than 30 days old)
• ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
• COVID vaccine required - NO DECLINATIONS ACCEPTED
