ICU RN Job Details – Marianna, FL

Location: Marianna, Florida 32446 (Northwest Florida healthcare jobs)
Facility Setting: Acute Care – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) & COVID ICU
Assignment Length: 13-week travel nurse contract
Start Date: October 19, 2025
End Date: January 18, 2026
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), 3 shifts per week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Floating: Required between ICU, COVID ICU, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1360-$1460

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or compact state (Florida nursing jobs)
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
Experience with ventilators and tracheostomies required
Proficient in managing and titrating critical care drips, including sedation
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA preferred)
NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
Ability to read and interpret cardiac monitor strips
Flexibility to float between ICU, COVID ICU, and PCU units as needed

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in ICU and COVID ICU settings
Monitor and manage patients on ventilators and tracheostomies
Administer and titrate critical care drips
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
Accurately document patient care using CPSI – Evident Thrive EMR
Float between ICU, COVID ICU, and PCU units as needed
Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
Provide compassionate support to patients and families
Maintain flexibility and teamwork in a dynamic hospital environment
