Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital
• Day shifts of 12 hours are required
• 13-week assignment length
• Travelers must follow strict RTO guidelines: a maximum of 5 days off if not near a holiday, and 3 days if around a holiday
• Only one holiday request for time off is allowed
• Multiple days of RTO during holiday periods will not be approved and must be spread out
• Assignment does not require on-call coverage

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months ICU experience required
• Former permanent staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, and 18 months before returning to the same facility
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local applicants are not eligible
