ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Colorado or compact state
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
Experience with medical ICU and neuro ICU populations preferred
Strong teamwork, clinical support, and communication skills

ICU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care to critically ill adults in a 16-bed Trauma ICU
Monitor and manage cardiac, ventilator, and IV pump equipment
Assist with procedures including intubations and central line placements
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure patient-centered care
Document nursing care and interventions using Meditech EMR
Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and clinical staff
