We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will play a crucial role in maintaining the delivery of quality care by ensuring adherence to nursing care plans and supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to provide the basis for individualized care plans.
Identify teaching needs and collaborate with patients and the interdisciplinary team to set goals based on the nursing admission assessment.
Provide timely updates on patient status for Initial Team Conferences and weekly re-evaluations.
Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in accordance with policy.
Participate in the patient rehabilitation program by utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
Initiate discharge planning on the day of admission, including patient education in anticipation of discharge.
Communicate pertinent changes in patient status to support continuity of care.
Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel, effectively organizing and prioritizing tasks.
Ensure personal and environmental safety in compliance with hospital and nursing policies.
Contribute positively to the unit by offering calm direction and support to staff, patients, and families.
Maintain communication with management regarding service needs and equipment repairs.
Assume charge responsibilities as requested after orientation.
Identify and pursue professional growth through continuing education and self-study.
Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only).
Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience preferred.
