Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week ICU position requiring an active GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the medical-surgical intensive care unit (MSICU) in a hospital setting
• Day shift, 12-hour AM shifts
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week contract assignment
• Responsibilities include care for critically ill adult patients in the ICU
• Holiday time off (RTO) is limited to a maximum of three days if around holidays, otherwise five days maximum
• Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per assignment
• Requests for several RTO days during holidays are not approved unless spread out
• Candidates may only be considered for one position at a time with this employer

Requirements

• Active Georgia or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months recent ICU nursing experience
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Former employees must have been separated from Emory or Houston systems for at least one year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
