Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment in California requiring an active CA RN license and recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Uses Epic electronic medical records
• Must have all active licenses and certifications at the time of consideration; no pending documents accepted
• Both local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Subject to tenure policy limiting contingent assignments to two years total within the system
• Orientation and training provided as per hospital standards

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time ICU experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Preferred qualifications include BSN, 2 years recent ICU experience, NIH Stroke Scale certification, CCRN certification, or dialysis/SLED experience
