Description 

Position: RN – Endoscopy
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Start Date: 09/15/2025
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
End Date: 12/15/2025
Shift: Day Shift, 8-hour | Monday–Friday, with rotating on-call
Setting: Outpatient – Endoscopy / GI Lab

This Endoscopy RN role requires strong experience and independent capability in all GI procedural areas. You will support a high-acuity endoscopy lab, including advanced procedures such as ERCP, EUS, ION Robotics, EBUS, and bronchoscopies. Candidates must be able to perform independently during call shifts and contribute to a collaborative and high-quality care team environment.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and recover patients for endoscopy and bronchoscopy procedures
• Independently manage advanced GI cases, including ERCP, EUS, ION Robot, and EBUS
• Support procedural flow, equipment preparation, and room turnover
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition
• Accurately document in the EMR system in a timely and professional manner
• Participate in on-call rotation (after-hours, weekends, holidays)

 Requirements

• RN Diploma – Required
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing – Preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy RN experience – Required
• Louisiana RN license (active and unrestricted) – Required
• BLS from American Heart Association – Required
• Specialty certification – Preferred
• Must be fully competent in all advanced GI procedures without supervision
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
