Now Hiring: Travel Registered Nurse – ER
Location: Utica, NY
Schedule: 13 Weeks, Night Shift (6:30p – 7a); every other weekend and every other holiday expected
Key Responsibilities:
• Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles, ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs
• Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to move patients in a safe manner
• Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate and may be required to assume duties as a charge nurse
• Must have the ability to identify and intervene in life threatening situations
Qualifications:
• Active RN license in New York
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required in ED with some PEDS experience and 1 Travel Assignment completed
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC and PALS certifications are required
• Charge Capability Highly Preferred & Floating is Required
