Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 12-hour day shift Emergency Department position requiring a WA or compact RN license and expertise in a Level-3 or higher ED environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 24-bed Emergency Department within a hospital setting
• Handles a diverse patient population including psych, trauma, general medical, sepsis, cardiac, and stroke cases
• 12-hour day shifts with 36 hours per week
• Floating is rare but may occur to FSED or other units as helping hands
• Epic EMR system is used and experience is required
• Care for patients with a variety of urgent and acute conditions including trauma, psychiatric emergencies, cardiac, and stroke events
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Support and teamwork provided within the department

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Level-3 or higher Emergency Department
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENCP, TNCC or ATCN, NIHSS, and CPI or MOAB
• Must pass Traveler Telemetry Competency Exam
• Experience with Epic EMR required
