• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Flu Vaccine declination accepted with approved medical or religious exemption (mask required if declined)
• Applicants who have left this healthcare organization within the past 5 years are not eligible

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Room
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical protocols
• Administer medications, treatments, and life-saving interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and clinical progress
• Respond rapidly to emergencies and provide advanced critical care
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
