Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with ND or compact licensure and a minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Emergency Department in a hospital setting
• 11-bed ED serving patients of all ages
• Uses EPIC EMR with ASAP module; teaching is provided
• Schedule consists of 12-hour rotating day and night shifts
• Required to work every 3rd weekend
• No on-call responsibilities and will not work alone
• No floating to other units is required
• Responsibilities include coordinating nursing care, patient and family education, and providing leadership within the care team
• Orientation provided for both hospital and ED unit
• Dress code requires black scrubs

Requirements

• Active ND or compact RN license required
• Graduation from an accredited RN education program
• At least 1 year of previous ER nursing experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Cardiac knowledge is preferred but not required
