ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Length: 3 weeks (March 17, 2025 – April 7, 2025)
Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 – Prime location for New York nursing jobs in a lively college town with natural beauty
Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department
Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts per week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,620 - $2,810 per week
Employment Type: Travel RN Contract

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
EPIC EMR experience required
BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Ability to work night shifts and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Accurately document patient information using EPIC EMR
Respond promptly to emergencies and deliver critical nursing interventions
Support the Emergency Department during the EPIC Go Live transition
