Rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends; a minimum of every other weekend is required. Flexibility with the schedule is necessary, and travelers must work 2 out of 4 holidays.

Job Description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform necessary procedures.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• At least 2 years of emergency room experience is necessary.
• Experience in large, teaching facilities preferred.
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required.
