Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN with Epic experience and a MA RN license for a night shift position in a Level 1 trauma center.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a Level 1 trauma center
• 44-bed, state-of-the-art emergency facility with specialized areas including behavioral health and fast-track
• 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and two holiday shifts required
• Patient population includes medical and trauma cases requiring immediate attention
• Uses Epic for all computerized charting and medication administration
• Duties include providing emergency nursing care to trauma and medical patients in a newly renovated, spacious department
• Candidates must pass Tele/ECG and medication tests as part of the onboarding process
• Must be available for two holiday shifts and every other weekend during assignment
• Excessive time off, especially around holidays, will not be considered

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• COVID vaccine and booster as well as flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months to be eligible
• No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered
