Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU night shift position requiring at least one year of pediatric critical care experience and valid compact or Oklahoma RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Care for pediatric patients with complex cardiac conditions in a critical care setting
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week
• No floating information provided
• 50-mile radius rule in effect; local candidates within this radius are not eligible
• Responsibilities include organizing, planning, and coordinating nursing care for an assigned group of pediatric CVICU patients
• Administer medications, monitor IV infusions and blood products, and assist with diagnostic procedures as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff, and communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care plans and hospital procedures
• Documentation of patient care and responses to treatments required
• Night shift position with potential holiday and weekend requirements

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma or multistate compact RN license required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum of one year of pediatric critical care nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
