Telemetry RN Job Details – Spokane, WA

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1810-$1940
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 17, 2025
• End Date: February 16, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00), 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care / Level II Trauma Center
• Unit: 8N & 8S Neuro/Telemetry (Stroke Unit)
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Floating: May float between units and to sister healthcare facilities as needed
• Charting System: Epic
• Parking: Free onsite

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington or Compact State (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN or Neuro RN experience
• Experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system (required)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (required)
• Neuro nursing experience required (including care for stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and post-neurosurgery patients)
• Proficient in interpreting and managing cardiac dysrhythmias
• Experience with chest tubes, craniotomy, external CPAP/BIPAP, procedural sedation, and telemetry monitoring
• Willingness to float between hospital units and healthcare facilities as needed
• References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable clinical setting

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on a designated stroke and neuroscience unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and neurological status for acute care patients
• Administer medications and manage IVs, chest tubes, and specialized medical equipment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services
• Accurately document patient care in Epic EHR
• Float to other hospital units or healthcare facilities as required to meet patient care needs
• Participate in unit-based and facility-wide training and continuing education modules
• Provide compassionate nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
