Schedule

Day shift: 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30). Call required for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, diagnostic, and interventional environment. This role includes circulating and scrubbing during procedures, monitoring patient vitals, and administering procedural sedation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiac catheterizations and assist with interventional procedures.
• Manage patient care during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and monitor conscious sedation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate records using McKesson and Cerner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures is preferred.
• Telemetry and ventilator management experience preferred.
• PA or compact nursing license required at the time of submission.
