Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level II NICU position requiring a WI or compact license, recent NICU experience, and NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Care for neonatal patients ranging from greater than 22 weeks to 46 weeks gestational age
• Infuse critical drips including epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine
• Utilizes the Epic EMR system
• Patient population includes premature and critically ill neonates
• Responsibilities include monitoring and managing neonates requiring intensive care and titrating critical drips
• Must be comfortable working with premature and high-acuity neonatal patients
• Expected to use Epic EMR for documentation
• Holiday coverage is required for at least 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• Limited time off permitted during the holiday season

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current NRP certification required at time of consideration
• At least 2 years of previous NICU experience required
• Completion of at least 1 previous travel contract required
• Must have recent experience caring for neonatal patients greater than 22 weeks gestational age
• Must provide a supervisory reference or performance evaluation from within the past 2 years
