Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required, with some of it within the last 12 months.
3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).
This role may require floating to additional units and locations
Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:
Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.
Call Requirements: Required
Patient Ratios: 1:1 and 1:2 (ACOG/AWHONN guidelines).
Type of equipment: EFM.
Documentation system: Meditech/ CPN.
Floating policy: As needed to antepartum.
Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role) -Ability to care for high risk antepartum, labor, and recovery patients. Must be able to check a cervix. -2+ Years of Hosp. experience
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Experience with the following: -Advanced FM is a plus. RNC-OB is a plus. Neither are required -If you can scrub a section, that is great. -Place internal monitors is a plus
Procedures performed on unit: -IVs, Check Cervix
Patient Experience Required: -Labor care
Floating Guidelines: May float to ante/gyn
10 days maximum time off
2 references from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
Driver's license required
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program - 8th Edition)
Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring) or the alternative certifications Advanced AWHONN FHM, C-EFM
