Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position in Colorado requiring at least one year of NICU experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) environment
• Primary patient population includes critically ill neonates
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, three days per week
• Potential to float to other departments within scope and competency
• Use of Epic EMR system; experience required
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and deliver independent and delegated nursing care to NICU patients
• May be placed on-call during scheduled shifts as needed
• Adhere to hospital and regulatory documentation standards

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of one year recent NICU RN experience required
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with ASN required; BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• NRP/ACLS/PALS certifications as appropriate for NICU preferred
• Epic charting experience required
