Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT or ARMRIT certification, EPIC proficiency, and at least 2 years of MRI experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based MRI department
• Shifts include Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday and Tuesday 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• No call required
• Holiday coverage is only required if the holiday falls on a scheduled workday
• May work weekends based on block scheduling requirements
• EPIC EMR experience required
• No floating required
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• No radius rule; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• All requested time off must be finalized prior to an offer; no changes permitted after approval
• Travel pairs accepted if approved by unit leadership, but same schedule is not guaranteed
• Parking is free with a provided decal during orientation
• Scrubs may be any solid color, but tops and bottoms must match and have no logos or prints
• Must wait one year after leaving an internal contracted position at this facility before reapplying
• Compliance modules are completed during orientation and annually

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience required
• Valid FL state license required at time of consideration, if applicable
• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Two professional references from supervisory roles within the last year required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required from 10/31 to 3/31, with medical or religious exemptions only
