Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a MRI Technologist with ARRT(MR) certification, Siemens MRI experience, and at least 2 years of recent experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital MRI unit
• Work schedule consists of 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every third weekend rotation is required
• Travelers are expected to float to the Ridgewood Observation Unit as needed
• Patient population and procedures consistent with MRI imaging
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment
• No holiday time off will be approved during the contract
• Prior permanent employees are not eligible for travel assignments
• All travelers must complete both billable and non-billable modules prior to and during orientation and annually thereafter
• Lab work must be initiated within two business days of acceptance
• EKG/Medication testing may be required before start for some specialties
• Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are accepted

Requirements

• ARRT(MR) certification is required
• State license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience preferred
• Experience with Siemens MRI scanners required
• Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination series and booster required
• One supervisory or manager reference from within the past year required for consideration
