Certification: BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Licensure: • Current registration and licensure by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) MRI Certification (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) OR • Current registration and licensure by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and MRI certification through ARRT required within 9 months of hire

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Demonstrates ability to effectively perform advanced MRI angiography to include bilateral run-offs and the required reformatting with additions and subtraction of raw data. • Demonstrates understanding of and responsibility for magnetic resonance safety compliance requirements.

Education: Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program or MRI Program Accredited through ARRT or ARMRIT

Experience: On the job training with outside didactic education i.e., Galveston College or previous MRI experience
