Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT(MRI) certification and at least one year of experience to work 12-hour day and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Full-time position working 12-hour day shifts including weekends
• Work performed at main campus and an off-site imaging center
• Diagnostic imaging department focused on MRI procedures
• Must be able to provide care in a high-altitude environment
• Responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations with attention to patient safety and care
• May float between main campus and off-site imaging center locations as assigned
• Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing, which is notably expensive in winter months
• No formally approved RTO; requests considered but not guaranteed
• Disputes regarding assignment must be addressed within 30 days

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Current ARRT(MRI) certification required
• Current BLS certification required (may obtain upon hire)
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist
• Active state license required if applicable
• Experience with GE MRI equipment preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Must be able to safely function in a low oxygen (high elevation) environment
