Mammography Technologist – Mobile Unit
Location: 171 Ashley Ave, Charleston, SC 29425
Shift: Day | 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM)

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Mobile Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms in a fast-paced outpatient/mobile environment. The technologist must maintain ACR and MQSA standards, demonstrate strong autonomy, critical thinking, and provide compassionate patient care while collaborating effectively with the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform 20–50 screening mammograms daily (minimum 20/day).
Operate Hologic Dimension equipment (mandatory).
Maintain detailed quality control records per DHEC and MQSA requirements.
Schedule regular equipment maintenance and manage workflow efficiently.
Engage effectively with patients and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Float between mobile sites and breast clinic locations as needed.
Adhere to all ACR, MQSA, and radiation safety standards.

Schedule & Work Details:

Standard Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekend: Occasional Saturdays (as needed)
On-Call: Not required
Floating: Yes – to sister facilities and clinic locations
Travel Time: Paid when traveling to/from mobile work sites
Overtime: May be adjusted with shift modifications

Requirements:

Experience: 1+ year in Mammography
Licensure:
- ARRT (M) – Mammography Certification
- SCRQSA (M) – South Carolina State License
- BLS – Basic Life Support
Equipment: Must have hands-on experience with Hologic Dimension systems
First-time travelers: Accepted
Pending License: Not accepted (SC license required before start)
Radiation Badge: Not required
