Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), with weekend rotation (every other weekend).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our MS/Tele specialty team. The candidate will specialize in the care of stable trauma patients, managing both pre-operative and post-operative care for a diverse surgical patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care for patients in a Med/Surg and MS/Tele environment.
• Manage and administer blood products and IV therapy.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings, responding effectively to dysrhythmias.
• Care for patients with surgical drains and colostomy management.
• Utilize rapid response teams as necessary for patient emergencies.
• Perform phlebotomy and peripheral line care and management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in surgery and trauma environments.
• ACLS (preferred), BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, wound care, and telemetry monitoring is essential.
