Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a ME or compact RN license and solid medical-surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a medical-surgical adult setting within a hospital
• Schedule consists of night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, three 12-hour shifts per week
• No on-call required
• Every other weekend coverage is required
• Patient population includes med-surg adult and med-surg ortho cases
• Responsibilities include providing care for adult patients on a med-surg unit
• Block scheduling is not available
• No COVID-19 vaccination is required at this time
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active ME or compact state RN license
• Minimum of 3 years prior medical-surgical nursing experience required
• Current BLS or BCLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Flu vaccination as mandated by the State of Maine
• Telemetry experience preferred
