Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU night shift position requiring a compact or OK RN license and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Medical ICU within a hospital setting
• Night shift with three 12-hour shifts per week
• Care for a variety of patients ranging from simple to complex conditions
• Assigned patient group responsibility
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and assisting with diagnostic procedures
• Delegation of tasks to support staff and participation in care planning with patients' families
• Night shift rotation does not require on-call duties
• Contract extension beyond 26 weeks requires a 6-month separation before reapplying

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by Oklahoma or an eNLC compact state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one year of RN experience in a hospital setting
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
