Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Neuro Medicine unit with a focus on providing exceptional patient care in a medical-surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have experience and skills related to neurological and psychiatric care, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the Neuro Medicine unit.
• Monitor and manage patients' conditions, including interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Administer IV therapy and maintain peripheral lines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and isolation precautions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience, preferably in a Neuro or Medical-Surgical unit.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.
