Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a MA RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 30-bed medical telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratios are typically 1:5 and may occasionally be 1:6 or 1:7
• Care for patients with cases including occasional post-bronchoscopy and chest tube procedures
• Day (AM) 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend and alternating holidays required
• Floating to similar units as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Provide telemetry and general medical care to a diverse adult patient population
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
