Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. The role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patients’ needs, identifying patient needs, and determining priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments.
• Initiate assessments based on patients' problems or needs, physicians’ medical diagnoses, and the functional health framework.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care of patients.
• Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent strong Med-Surg & Tele experience required.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
