**Job Description: Med/Surg Telemetry RN**

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a dynamic healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess at least 18 months of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry and hold an active nursing license in Ohio or a compact state. As a Med/Surg Telemetry RN, you will play a critical role in the monitoring and care of patients, ensuring they receive the highest level of medical attention.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assess patients' health needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond to changes in patients' conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and recovery processes.
- Document patient care using designated charting systems.
- Ensure adherence to facility protocols and maintain a safe and professional environment.

**Shift Information:**

- Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 AM - 07:30 PM)
- Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 PM - 07:30 AM)
- Rotating shifts may be required based on operational needs.

**Qualifications:**

- Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
- Active permanent nursing license in Ohio or a valid compact state license.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- Experience with ECG rhythm recognition preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Additional Information:**

- Travelers must work at least every other holiday.
- A background check and various assessments (ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate) will be conducted during orientation.
- One supervisory reference in the specialty is required for submission.
