Job Description

As a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while utilizing your extensive experience in telemetry settings. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of excellent healthcare services to patients during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care for medical and surgical telemetry patients.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, ECG, and physical condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to discuss patient progress and concerns.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in electronic health records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Must possess 18 months of permanent MS/Tele experience prior to travel assignment.
• Current Ohio RN License or Compact State License is mandatory.
• AHA BLS & ACLS certifications are required; NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission (Charge RN references accepted).
