Night shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and be at the forefront of coordinating exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients. You will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care in the dynamic general Med/Surg unit. Collaborate with a talented group of professionals to meet the unique needs of our diverse patient population, utilizing the innovative Nursing Process to make critical decisions. We prioritize holistic care, ensuring that patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs are met with compassion and proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult and occasional pediatric patients, focusing on comprehensive care.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver critical care and make informed decisions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Accountable to the Unit Director while supporting the Clinical Nurse Lead and Nursing Supervisor.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least three years of acute care experience, with preference for candidates familiar with Meditech.
• Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
• ACLS certification.
