Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Telemetry Registered Nurse for our unit specializing in orthopedic care. This nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients with joint replacements, fractures, and other orthopedic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to orthopedic patients, including those recovering from total joint replacements.
• Manage patient assessments, plan care, and implement treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any immediate needs or changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, care plans, and discharge instructions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have strong orthopedic nursing experience with a focus on total joint replacement.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Active nursing license in the state of practice is required.
