Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a certified Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current California licensure for a mobile and clinic-based role.

Responsibilities

• Work in a mammography imaging center and on a Mammo Mobile Van that serves locations throughout the Bay Area
• Predominantly day shifts Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm, with occasional rotating weekends including one Saturday per month
• Floating required between main imaging center and Carol Ann Read Breast Center
• Patient population includes adult women requiring screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• Provide screening and diagnostic mammography services in both fixed and mobile clinical settings
• Team may include other technologists and imaging support staff
• All certifications must be AHA-accredited and in hand at time of consideration
• Modules are completed during orientation and range from 1-5 hours on average
• Return staff must have been gone for at least one year to be considered as a traveler
• Only one holiday time-off request will be approved per contract
• Position subject to 50-mile radius rule for travel eligibility
• Locals are accepted at a different pay rate

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Current ARRT, BLS, and CRT certifications required
• California State Mammography Licensure required (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• License required if applicable
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of accepting offer
